Simply pink

Dressing up for festive occasions is a lot of fun for me. I love the colours and brightness of a celebration, especially an Indian one. But simplicity is hard when you’re talking wedding outfits.

Pink + white seems a classic combination but it’s not seen often, especially in ethnic festive wear. This block print on the suit actually nails it because it’s elegant but eye catching at the same time- perfect for a mehendi or small wedding events. Ticks the simple elegance box for sure.

It’s a unique suit because there are no metallic elements anywhere. No gold, silver or anything else. This made accessorising a slight problem because nothing matched perfectly or contrasted trendily. White sandals it was!

I’m a sucker for a rhinestone/white gemstone. They work so well with all kinds of clothing (Indian and Western) & jazz outfits up by a notch. Silver-white bangles add some sparkle  to the outfit.

If you hadn’t noticed by now, I really like bright colours.

Cue toothy grin that’s too wide.

Luz House has some gorgeous furniture- like this table set! I loved the old-world charm it has.

I love how the hot pink photographs too!

What do you guys think of simple elegance for festive occasions? Let me know in the comments.

Have a great week ahead! ~
